If you want somebody to behave a certain way use yourself as an example. If you have any sort of affect on them use it to show them what they're doing wrong and how they can do better.
well thats a great understanding from a friend stand point because, most people critisize a person just to make there self feel better but in your case you were saying, be a great friend and try to influence them with the right love in friendship.
